I wonder if anyone else gets the impression the wife is a Trump voter. It's just a sense I get from her interview, she seems to use the Republican phrasing, emphasizing the values of security and safety from criminals and securing the border. I think most democrats understand that immigrants commit fewer crimes than citizens, so we don't highlight crime as a top concern.

I note this because early on, during the campaign, I was surprised that some immigrants would support Trump. But, I realized they are divided against each other. I heard immigrants who want the door closed BEHIND them. Trump's words resonated with them.

It wasn't blatant, just a feeling I had.
