(28,787 posts)they're literally delusional. it's disheartening. and, apparently, they believe the same to be true of us. sigh.
me too. I can't take it.
Just crossed paths with one of these people a few weeks ago. Hired driver. Voted for dump because "he's a successful businessman". Also thinks that chimpy had no reason to lie the nation into the Iraq debacle. The guy was catastrophically ignorant. I told him so after making him promise he wouldn't drive the vehicle into a tree with me in it.

(8,392 posts). . . for what was set in motion under Obama is perhaps the most idiotic thing I've heard in a while. A new president's economic policies don't even take effect until the new fiscal year starts in October, so that means we've had only a little over a single quarter for Trump's policies to have taken effect and to have rippled through the economy -- not nearly enough time to even make an assessment. We won't begin seeing the impact of his policies for probably another 6 months to a year.

(89,244 posts)notice the only one who wouldn't vote for him was the woman who was a democrat and already didn't like him. even her republican daughter hated him and didn't vote for him. but she voted for him because he would get rid of regulations in the coal industry.
but the rest of them are fucking stupid emotional assholes . they are the type that can't follow serious discussions so view it was elitist or speaking down to them. a dumbfuck like trump connects with them on the same intelligence and emotional level.
