(2) Break promises, refuse to pay debts and threaten lawsuit(s)

"Stiff all the venders and clients, customers."

This is a common business strategy.
Doesn't involved actually providing a service or product.
But just gaming the system, cheating, lying and robbing others.
All done legally.

Grab as much as you can, while you can, and to hell with the long- or even medium-term consequences. This is most clearly evidenced in extremely short-sighted corporate decisions and strangely-weighted accounting procedures that temporarily boost apparent profitability.

The facade only has to last until bonuses are calculated and paid.

We used to have a solar panel industry. I was following a company called Nanosolar for a long time. Then the Chinese started dumping their panels on the U.S. and blew them and all the other solar panel companies out of the water. Now, maybe, we can bring that manufacturing back to the U.S.

Tariffs are suppose to protect local manufacturers from oversea's companies, from dumping
their cheaply made products onto our economy.

If it costs $10 to make a pair of shoes in the US, and only $2 by another country,
a tariff of $8 would be applied to make both shoes equal in value, and then the better
quality pair of shoes would sell more.

The problem with this tariff, it is not designed to equalize the value of oversea's products
with the US made products, it is to make COAL cheaper for the consumer to buy and Solar more
expensive than coal.

It’s not enough that they got huge tax relief, they — and other fossil-fuel interests — found a back door to gut the 30% federal tax credit that homeowners receive when they install rooftop solar. Drumpf couldn’t roll that back without going to Congress, so he’s using his poison pen. How soon before we end up buying oil from Russia?

Get out every last fucking vote in November!

I know that there is a big solar panel factory in Toledo, OH that I drive by when I visit my family.

To be honest, I kind of appreciate a little protectionism in this case. I don’t like what it’ll do to fossil fuels and their consumption in the US, but I appreciate what it could do for decent manufacturing jobs.

I really am going to have to research how this might affect our nation. I don’t know enough to have an informed opinion.

Did I say I hate trump? Well, I do. This is the closest I think I’ve ever been to agreeing with any of his decisions. Well, I 100% agree with his decision to wear pants, but that goes without saying...

we will get what we want and need from the " don't give a shit capitalist system" we live in and this will be the case no matter whatever any two-bit pompous ass thinks.

I got my house solarized six years ago when prices were twice as high and it is still paying off. My grid makes more than I can use for my household so instead of just letting the electric company rip me off for the extra the grid makes I went got an electric car to take care of that issue. Now I will pay just a little to the electric company till I figure out how much more panel I will need for the powering the car

Instead of people letting the system do them they should get out and do the system.

Perfect is the enemy of good enough.
