She seems to be operating in a world where Republicans will operate in good faith if we just try hard enough to work with them. I think part of winning the next election is to rally people with outrage at what is happening to/in our country-the threat of impeachment sends a clear message that the person you are voting for shares this sentiment. Milk toast approaches won't get us very far IMHO.

WHAT the fuck would be a game changer? Does Trump have to sell California down the river? whoops.,.. its been done already. No emergency fire funds because we voted for Hillary? This is bullshit.

only to have to march them back down again, when you don't have the votes.

in the meantime she doesn't want the party to run on impeachment which the Republicans would love and would be a distraction from their messaging. She wants the party to focus on uniting the country and winning the mid-terms.

She views impeachment very seriously and she's right to want concrete evidence. If we start down the road of the Republicans - as they did with Bill Clinton then we risk looking like were on a witch hunt. I would rephrase "looking weak" to "being cautious" on when and how to use impeachment.

She would rather it happen closer to the midterms (not peak too early)

She would rather Mueller provide evidence to clean the entire house...IMPotus, Pence, Sessions et al

She's being a smart.... with midterms months away, it would only gin up dodart's base to get out and vote. This was proven during the midterms following The Clinton so called impeachment. Voters turned out in droves to support him and they gained seats instead of losing seats.

I would not be surprised if some Dems in DC think a similar event might occur if 45 is impeached.

I hope no Democrat runs on impeachment, they all need to run on the issues that most effect their constituents. That has been proven to be a winning strategy.

If we flip the house, then impeachment can take place, if we do not there is no way to move on this.

Chews up lots of time, news, etc. while better results obtained by better legislation and better investigations into many cabinet members to leave them scarce time to work their evils. Also, prevents Pence from turning us into total theocracy and allows for 2020 to get rid of them both.

Meanwhile Mueller could be given even greater latitude and resources to go after the entire Trump family.
