2. Section 112 deals with President's waiver

From :

https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/3364/text

SEC. 112. <<NOTE: 22 USC 9411.>> PRESIDENTIAL WAIVER AUTHORITY.

(a) <<NOTE: Time periods. Determinations.>> Case-by-Case Waiver
Authority.--
(1) <<NOTE: Reports.>> In general.--The President may waive,
on a case-by-case basis and for a period of not more than 180
days, a requirement under section 104, 105, 106, 107, or 108 to
impose or maintain sanctions with respect to a person, and may
waive the continued imposition of such sanctions, not less than
30 days after the President determines and reports to the
appropriate congressional committees that it is vital to the
national security interests of the United States to waive such
sanctions.

I don't see, "cuz I don't wanna" or "but he's my bestie!" in that section.

Any reports submitted "to the appropriate congressional committees"?

They knew he'd never go for sanctions against his master, so gave him an out clause. Of course drumpf will say it's for national security, because he thinks the country is all him and this is necessary for his security. Otherwise Putin could release the tapes and he'd go to jail.

It's really scary how much we have already been taken over by the dark side of the force and it's getting stronger every day.

It says the waiver can take place "after" reporting to Congress. Not even contorted legalese, there -- it does not leave the imposition or waiver of sanctions to the discression of the President.

Putin's puppet does not know how to play the role of President.

...is to execute the laws enacted by congress.

If Trump won't - or won't have the law changed to address his grievances - then he's not carrying out his duties. He is in violation of the constitution and must therefore be impeached and removed from office.

Open and shut.

of the American public to how quickly their democracy is disappearing? My lifelong belief that you can't ever go broke as long as you don't underestimate the ignorance of the American public prevents me from formulating a clear list of scenarios. I keep digging and digging but the bar is in freefall and I can't keep up.
