I meant that it allows Obama and the PACs to release very dramatic videos about a social safety net doomsday scenario. And they won't be exaggerating.
The way Rove packaged Bush was to portray him as a basically good guy you'd like to hang out with. A compassionate conservative. Picking Ryan eliminates that option for Romney. It leaves no doubt in anyone's mind what he's really about.

though I doubt anyone would've wanted to have a beer with Romney, even before Ryan.
