1. Nothing works to chip away at the wall of Trump's supporters

It doesn't matter how many flip flops on Daniels payment. Doesn't matter how many screw ups he or his lawyers do. Doesn't even matter that most every investigative authority is a Republican. He just has to tweet "Witch hunt....Democrats....deep state.....fake news....crooked Hillary....sleezy Comey....no collusion, everyone knows" and that is all they need.

How does one fight against that? You can't make people smarter. You can't make deplorables, decent. He's like the class bully who is from a rich family so he has paid off his 'friends' in the same class and even if the teacher (the law) says 1+1=2, he stands up with his big stupid smile and says "WRONG! FAKE NEWS! 1+1=3! ....and half the class cheers for him over the teacher.

I read a story once about how these people (Greenpeace, perhaps?) used a tugboat and a rope to help tow a beached whale back out to the ocean before it died. Hours after their successful rescue (and a round of high 5s), that same whale beached itself again. Dotard's diehard supporters remind me of this famous clip.

Whoever heard of a lawyer going on nat'l tv and representing "facts" on behalf of his client, and then the client goes national and says the lawyer is wrong on the "facts."

Ghouliani was a HUGE mistake hire by Trump. When he comes in with the fairy tale that he's gonna wrap up the Mueller investigation in two weeks, you know it's downhill from there. Is something wrong with Ghouliani? Apparently so. Geez. Both Trump and the Ghoul are wacko.
