I guess they'll say the cop feared for his life.

"NBC4 has reached out to Buena Park, CA, police, but have not received a response.
A clerk working at the station said the surveillance video has been handed over to police for their investigation."

AND he needs to be denied all access to firearms, AND charged with assault (or whatever local law labels the crime of threatening someone with a gun).

Talk about jumping the gun. He walks in, doesn't see the transaction, and assumes the guy just lifted the mints. Then after the clerk said "yes" when asked if the guy paid, with his best race face he says "You sure"? "Fuck yeah, I'm sure. Now get out of my store".

Why not just ask the clerk before pulling the gun? Hell, what would've happened had another cop walked in and saw that? Or an armed citizen, Rambo or otherwise?

That's how folks get killed. Where do they find these guys?

If they don't get rid of his ass we'll hear about him shooting someone in the future.

He waited until the cop asked him if the customer had paid for the Mentos before he spoke up. I guess he could have been freaking out about the gun.
