They (people with equipment and money and safety knowledge) can do stuff so you don't have to.

I really loved "Will It Blend?" which was actually promoting how powerful the blender they showed was. They actually blended an iPhone to dust.

Also good, the 40(?) part series on "here's what things that shouldn't be in a microwave do in a microwave".
