3. I wish he would have povided Hilary Clinton with the same measure of honesty and justice.

Seems to me that when the scumbag fascist Republicans are returning to civilized society or about to meet their maker that the suddenly grow a conscience. When they were busy sucking up their base they were absolutely stone deaf to racial slurs hurled daily about President Obama. Where were they when Trump carried on a campaign of lies about the citizenship of Obama. Today 70% of the Republicans still believe he isn't a citizen. I haven't heard them denouncing that grievous lie. Hell no! As long as it bought them votes they provided it with the emphatic indorsement of silence. The Republican Party is a criminal enterprise that is selling Americans' heritage.

4. I can only remember two occasions when a Republican or a member of

America's "fourth estate" corrected the continuous slander and libel waged for almost two years beginning in 1998 hurled against Al Gore that "he claimed to have invented the Internet" instead of giving him credit for his vision and prime role in pushing the legislation forward that opened it up to the people.

One of them was Paul Krugman and the other was Newt Gingrich of all people.

I have no doubt many Republicans if not most still believe that lie along with a host of others.

.... a person who has figured out what side of history he wants to be on.

I maybe wrong. But his willingness to not just parrot the the party line suggest IMO a change.
