8. Rent-a-Cops

Seasonal police officers hired from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Much more dangerous than regular cops. Guys who want to be policeman so badly but can't get hired by a regular department. Small beach towns that see their populations quadruple or more during the summer have a handful of full-time officers and hire these inexperienced, over officious wannabes on a power trip to handle summer visitors. Real assholes. I lived in a Jersey beach town where I luckily knew the regular guys. During my younger days they defused any number of situations with the summer gestapo for me. It's all about power and control.....and very little training.

Had that woman simply complied with the officers requests there would not have been a scene. If you people are so anti-police next time you need help call a criminal.
