2. I agree - it was an exceptional monologue, but he was off last week so had some catching up to do

It always seems like whenever he's off, all hell breaks loose when it comes to the news. But I guess with Trump, that pretty much happens every week!

Not that it has ever excused her vile politics, but it does give some perspective. Curious to me that nobody has mentioned that, if she was taking Ambien, that she's also no longer sober either. She's wrestling with beaucoup demons as Bill pointed out, not just political paranoia/cultism,and I hope she gets herself back into treatment.(Betty Ford or Hazelton)
Charlemagne the God's Overtime comment that the one good thing Trump has done is expose the true personality of the GOP was
pretty great, good silver lining stuff. GOP's now vomited their toothpaste all over our democracy so publicly that it's never going back in the tube.

A month ago, he dedicated his New Rules to sending her a message. Too bad she didn't listen.

New Rule: Dear Roseanne

In his editorial New Rule, Bill pens an open letter to his dear friend Roseanne about a few inconsistencies in her political affiliations.

He was off last week in the middle of breaking news. And the weeknight late night shows have been in repeats all week - except for The Daily Show which was in repeats all last week.

I was a little late in getting it posted since they make these segments available one at a time - and inexplicably the monologue was last - but I was grateful he was back this week since everything but The Daily Show was in repeats all week.

I was bummed that he wasn't on last week - with all the breaking news - but he did a great job last night!
