How could Cheeto have thought he was being stabbed in the back?

Trudeau's comments are exactly what a sensible leader would have said. I guess this just proves that Cheeto was looking for an argument all along. Or else he's just insane.

Sounds reasonable enough. Trump to respond to this, in a mean and vicious way.......
.....proves more about Trump than Trump can imagine..Why didn't Trump check this out with an "advisor" who is a specialist on U.S./Canadian relations. Certainly in the State Department, we have such people. Or in the Defense Department..or somewhere in the military to help Trump understand...if that is indeed what set him off.... I don't know, Trump cannot be that stupid..but..stupid is what stupid is...

Doesn't he understand that if you screw the person you are dealing with, that person is likely to retaliate?

Trump is starting a trade war with our closest allies and neighbors. He passed a tax package which we all likely will be feeling the negative effects of within a year. And he's messed with homeowners' property tax and mortgage interest deductions. Anyone else worried about the economy? It appears to be the perfect storm only our true enemies would order up.....oh wait, there is that Uncle Vlad guy.

Some of the tariffs have purposely been directed at states that voted for Trump
