America Today

Sorry in advance, but this not my usual fun and happy sappy video
(i've moved to the Lounge for that, after being rightly nudged for being off-topic).

Regarding this (topic relevant) video (sent to me today from a Canadian pal),
I can't decide which dismays more, the fact it was published 8 years ago,
or that the original song is from the (less evil) blundering 80's !!!

We can do better, eh.

This is a video for "America Today," a scathing indictment of the U.S.A. - The song was originally released in 1984, on the Tupelo Chain Sex album "Spot The Difference." - The album is long out of print, yet incredibly relevant to today's times. Therefore, I felt it was my patriotic duty to create this video, to get this song inside the ears of modern America.

obviously those musicians disagree---so I assume they have moved elsewhere.

The way these people feel they probably think Trump is doing people favor by trying to keep them out.

Sad.
