I appear to have played out a RW'ers arguments about Sam Bee's prior "feckless" comment. The RW'er was lamenting the removal of a scholarship from a CalPoly scholarship recipient, who showed up at a counter-protest against those protesting the child-snatching Trump policy at the border. This fine young man 
found it to be an appropriate venue to shout homophobic epithets at the anti-racism protesters, and caught on video doing so... lost his scholarship, and whined on RW channels about his "free speech" being curtailed:

I posted the following, and have heard no more on the subject:

The random generalized hateful remark bellowed by a testosterone driven, riled up counter-protester to those protesting the most despicable policy enforcement in this country since the japanese internment camps is deplorable compared to Sam Bee's rant. I see a plain demonstration in one completely thoughtless three word bellow from this cracker that he cares about absolutely no one but his ilk. This is far, far beyond the “awkward” moment Sam Bee and producers have graciously apologized for.

The tasteless, perhaps could have been more PC phrased, but poignant remark from Bee regarding the tone-deafness of Ivanka’s child embracing Tweet at the same time this horrific child snatching policy was enacted, demonstrating the depth of unconditional caring on her part, even for those unlike her and her situation.
Yes, Sam, watch your words, especially at a time when RW’ers are looking for every possible angle.
Bronson, for doubling down on hateful epithets at a hateful “rally” lacking any redemptive quality whatsoever then calling yourself a victim?… I don’t want to support anyone like this on campus… bye, bye scholarship.
Interesting RW'ers will call out non-PC behavior when it's not their own... things that make 'ya go "hmmm".
On that note, while I applaud the unapologetic tone of the English Trump protesters, I will remind them they are not "under the gun" figuratively and literally from the RW crazies here. I believe acts and threats of violence from the largely better armed and reactionary RWNJ's here has watered down our responses, to some extent. Let's face it, one reasonable person being run over by a crazed right winger was enough to frighten anyone, as well as this "destroy the liberal left" populism that even occasionally spills right here onto DU.
It has endeared me to the Brits even more than before. They know how to throw a protest!
