(108,977 posts)the guy who pushed him is stepping away and pulling up his pants when the shooter whips out the gun and fires.
The guy who was killed wasn't a threat at all. This was a revenge shooting, pure and simple.

(867 posts)incident. He also threatened a tank truck driver at the same location for the same thing. In the road rage incident the other man did call the cops. But he denied it and the other man refused to press charges. So we know he is a liar and a coward. Now it is up to our attorney general to press charges which she will not at a trumper and NRA lover.

(2,992 posts)Florida was one of the first states to adopt SYG, but it will also be one of the first to overturn it.
The most powerful special interest in Florida is the tourism industry. That's why Florida was the first state to allow prosecutors to charge juveniles as adults - there was a series of high-profile robberies and murders committed by teenagers against European tourists, and European countries started issuing advisories against travel to Florida because of them.
Eventually, some yahoo is going to shoot an unarmed tourist from abroad, and he/she is going to claim "but I feared for my life." And he/she is going to walk because of SYG. Which will hit the tourism industry in its wallet.

(45,433 posts)then we'll see some changes to the law. If there is video and justification of self-defense, then the law will be changed instantly if a POC shoots a white person dead.
