I wonder how those farmers' families will feel when the farms are foreclosed, the wife has to get a job at Wal-Mart and the kids have to drop out of college? It was all worth it because Trump?

not all people in ag/farmers are rethugs or idiots... it's just that the media focus on them more than ever now.

I only get one radio station in my place, I moved but I get one radio station and I don't have a teevee, and it is NPR, thank goodness. Today I heard Scott Simon interview a ranch in one of the Dakotas about this Endangered Species Act crap the idiots are dredging up again. It blew my mind that he only interviewed this one guy who has an obvious bias and little actual knowledge of the ESA yet comlains about his perception of it. Scott even confesses ignorance about ranching but he also had no clue about the ESA, what it means or what it says. It's not long, some forty plus pages long, not like he couldn't have browsed it himself to get the idea of what it is about. As an ESA specialist I was kind of pissed about that so I wrote him a polite letter with an invitation to learn about the ESA so he can actually understand why this is an issue.

So the media is only partially with us because their overlords dictate a certain slant of coverage, period. The news is now more suspect than ever in my lifetime and I am quite concerned about it.

Because the "richer" farmers will mostly be bailed out. NOT them so much.

That land was and will always be Native American land anyway. Mother Earth is not pleased at all. Nope, NOT theirs, as my late Father who WAS Native American and whose Father had HIS thousands of acres of land STOLEN from him would say.

I ONLY feel sorry for the Farmers who didn't vote for Neville tRump. Not so much the ones like these stable geniuses who have their heads all the way up Neville tRump's anus.

MFers.

There's problems inherent in the trumpanzees bailout, though. An important one is that our tax dollars won't restore the foreign markets that took decades to build
Unless we have to pay for that every year now.

Honestly, the farmers just want to make libruls mad at any price.

to the made up headline using a clipped three word quote.

In fact the "to the death" was part of a larger sentence and out of context...and was two farmers.

Two farmers!

Maybe the title of the actual video might have been a hint that the made up headline of the OP, no offence, is inflammatory.

Farmer Greenshirt. From what I see on his website, his farm appears to be well diversified (pumpkin patch, Christmas trees, farms stands, country store, online store, wedding receptions to name a few) so I can see why he smugly says he can take the hit, and that would be okay if he were the ONLY one to take the hit. But he's not. Trump is going to hurt thousands of family farms! Ay-yi-yi!

He said that farmers are the ones "they" chose to carry the water for the country. The money from the govt will help, but it'll hurt. But he said this is necessary to make things right for the future.

I think they're more at ease because of the welfare (we taxpayers are paying for that). But we'll see after the pain starts. The crops aren't in yet.

If they still feel that way, and esp if some go out of business, then I will say that that's the first group I've heard of in a long time that is willing to take financial hits for the betterment of the economy and their situation in the long run. (But part of me thinks that some just can't face the fact that they voted for someone who conned them. Still, Trump did say he was going to raise the tariffs, so everyone knew.)

No, you're an idiot. What happened to the "salt of the earth" people who wouldn't suck up to the Russians if their lives depended on it?

Your president, Donald Trump, is a Putin apologist and believes the former Head of the KGB over our own intelligence agencies. And you fools are OK with that? That doesn't make you a "good Amerikkkan, it makes you a stooge. It makes you the quintessential ignorant hick you so despise people portraying you as.

There aren't that many people in that hall, either. Check it out. I think Little Donnie is losing some of his pulling power.

I will not take these irrational tariffs sitting down. The economy was doing quite fine, but rump still had to, w/ no evidence what so ever (just another one of his blatant lies, still no proof of what brought around all of these tariffs and the like, just his stupid mouth claiming crap). Now, everyone will be paying lots more for less...just wait and see.

Any you idiots helped him...
