Lawrence O'Donnell On Ivanka Trump's Absence On Border Children - The Last Word - MSNBC

Ivanka Trump said she "vehemently" opposed Donald Trump's family separation policy but added that her own mother "came here legally." But what if that isn't totally true? Lawrence explains the questions raised over Ivanka Trump's mother's immigration history.

Exactly. But the interesting part was that Lawrence explained her mother's immigration story. Rhiannon12866 Aug 2018 #2

Ivana Trump didn't become a US citizen until she was here for 11 years - so was Ivanka an "anchor baby?"

She was just another immigrant who did what she had to do to emigrate and start a better life. I think that Lawrence told it well and made an excellent point. Someone should point that out to her daughter - not that she'd be likely to get it at all.

More and more, I think Trump and his supporters just relish the cruelty of the border policy. If "the wall" could be a series of doors that slammed shut as soon as you tried to pass through them, they'd go nuts for that. Think of how codependent the Trumps are, that adult children have to stay with dad through business and even the White House. The worst villain in movie history, IMO, was the guy in the Danish film "The Vanishing", who buried women alive, At one point, a cop tells him to wear a seatbelt and he shows a doctor's note that excuses him for extreme claustrophobia. That's the level of evil Trump has achieved, that he does to other families what would be absolutely unbearable for him.

separation, saying they should not have come here bringing their kids. Well, when she goes to prison, we can say "She should not have broken the law" The tRump Foundation that only spent money on tRumps is being investigated, along with other illegal actions. This botoxed, frozen faced, little girl voiced fake is in for a dose of reality. Apart from her daddy, who thinks she is some great beauty? I think she is strange looking. Certainly she got her daddy's intelligence!

who lied on their applications? Wouldn't Melania get caught up in that sting for lying about her college degrees?
