our democratic way of life. It has taken almost 250 years to build this great nation, and our imbecile president and his cabal 17 months to almost destroy it. Hard to believe that there are millions of citizens that are supporting this destruction that we are witnessing everyday.

I would like to second your statement that we have to witness such a disgrace to our country like this.

In this video Dwight D. Eisenhower came forth not as a Republican, not as anyone with an agenda, but as a General commanding the forces in Europe. All to stop a demented nutcase who was bent on global domination.

45 comes along and disguising his need for glamor and glitz uses the opportunity to get elected and tear down everything this nation stands for.

Am I reading this right?

Eisenhower was an honorable man and an old time Republican. Who knows what tRump represents other than his own narcissistic, self serving, corrupt, evil ego. My trump humper sister told me that the reason the deplorables voted for him to watch liberal heads explode. So sad that they have to watch what is happening to the USA. Her husband and two oldest sons work in farm machine manufacturing. There won't be a lot of farm machines sold this year.

Call them monarchists, fascists, corporatists, oligarchs, plutocrats, they are all cut from the same cloth. They want it all for themselves, and they have never stopped trying to get it. Nor will they ever stop. Eisenhower was an old school conservative, the kind you can at least respectfully disagree with, but he did a lot of damage to American democracy when he was president.
