Fact check: The true cost of 'Medicare for all'

Last edited Tue Aug 28, 2018, 07:45 AM - Edit history (1)

Jack Tapper, who thinks himself "liberal" (except when he's not), spouting the erroneous, Koch Bros. "fact check" on universal care.

What to note here, if you go to YouTube, the likes at the bottom: 677 Likes, 2.2K Not. (99 to 1)
Not trying to flame the debate here. Post meant to point to the poll. MFA seems much more popular with those who need it than those who don't.

Understand. Not flaming. Post was intended less for the content than for the poll. Snellius Aug 2018 #2

I do adamantly support MFA but, even so, I'm continually surprised at how well it does in the polls. Last I read was 70% in Reuters–Ipsos survey. This count on YouTube is obviously unscientific but the discrepancy of 99 to 1 is hard to ignore.

The bickering here is also surprising. There's a growing rift in DU. Disagreements seem not so much over the issue as much as whether it's politically sound. But on this the ppl seem much more ahead than the pols. Controversial more reason to be discussed.
