Yet he shows magnificent control with the choice of words to emphasize our dire pivotal moment.
His sigh is even more intense!
I lament the missed opportunity for the best president ever to circumvent this climatic and political degradation ensuing presently.
The SCOTUS failed this nation then and we face extreme danger once again.

It was more a sign of exacerbation or frustration over one of W’s off the cuff answers. Gore operates with a high level of critical thought and is not at all attracted to mediocrity.
Gore was also criticized for his statements regarding approach to social security and Medicare as a “lock box” vs privatization.
Fast forward to the pillaging going on with this mob in the WH. How low can this go.

“Every night on the evening news is like a nature walk through the book of revelations.”

The man sure has a way with words. Oh my, what could have been, if the media hadn’t chosen to tear an honerable man down while promoting a half wit ninny who THEY proclaimed as the one most Americans would rather have a beer with! (Not me; I prefer intelligent conversation.)

He didn't have to lead the charge, but others in the Democratic leadership at the time should have. Yeah yeah I know, they go low, we go high. As usual. Polite capitulation was the play of the day. It worked so well, that Dubya was voted in a second term.

Sickening sight to see him at the gavel, pounding down and shouting "out of order" to members of the black caucus demanding the election be counted fairly, because not one sitting senator would back them.

Because the US is now at least 10 years behind a lot of the world now in developing alternate energy sources, and also income disparagy, child poverty, not to mention the military deaths, and world standing. And who knows what could have been by now without all that MIC spending and unnecessary tax cuts for the wealthy? And all the bail out money to right the ship? High speed rail across the country? A healthier education system, stronger SS and perhaps even a beginning of a type of single payer medical system? Who knows.

Because Dubya begat Trump. Tea Baggers morphed into Deplorables.....because they could.
