Glenn Campbell - Try a little kindness

This song always reminds me of the people on DU. I have always thought it would be a good song for the Dem. convention.

I don't know what you would have to do to get this for the convention. Whatever, it is it should be done.

I have to forgive GC his conservative leanings. Have been a fan since I was 6 years old and heard "Galveston" on the radio.

I was privileged to see him perform earlier this year on his "Goodbye" tour. He was absolutely brilliant. Yes, he needed a teleprompter for some lyrics, but he has lost no music in his hands. His guitar playing was superb. I enthusiastically suggest a listen to some of his early instrumental works, specifically The Astounding 12-String Guitar of Glen Campbell and The Big Bad Rock Guitar of Glenn Campbell.

He was also a member of the Wrecking Crew--hired guns who made a lot of artists sound a lot better musically than they might have been at the time!
