According to The Wall Street Journal, federal prosecutors have evidence that Trump directed his former fixer Michael Cohen, who pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations, and others to make payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen MacDougal. Trump previously denied knowledge of the payments.

This very detailed report reinforces that the president of the United States very likely lied to the public about his role in paying hush money to a porn star who alleged an affair with him, in possible violation of federal campaign finance law.

So.

This is both 1) not remotely surprising given Cohen's statement during his plea that Trump directed him to commit two felonies; and 2) a staggeringly big deal ->

The Republican legislative bodies seem frozen in the blinding glare of trumpism. They are afraid to move. They will get run over by the freight train that is the majority plebiscite known as the American people if they don’t act....now!

His delegitimization of our country’s norms is one of the most dangerous things he has accomplished. Just today he has directly indicted the election process in two states, just because he doesn’t like the potential results. He has NO authority to make any declarations concerning states elections, period! Any destabilizing of a country’s elections could be considered an act of war under normal circumstances. Just look at the consequences of the CIA and it’s efforts in South America. Just look at Russia’s efforts here in trump’s election.

If the republicans wait for the New Democratic House to do the work that should have been done by responsible actors in the Republican Party, the thing that will end up suffering the most will be a slaughtered Republican legitimacy.

Trump is taking us to the brink, daily he is lunatiking his way through his presidency ( if it can be called that). His thoughts are for himself, nothing for the nation. He is the ultimate crass seeker of attention. The presidency is nothing more than a bauble for him to stroke his insufficiently endowed desire to be a man. Something he will never accomplish, no matter how many people he try’s to insult.

It’s time he goes!

a full examination of Trump's mental capacity is. Our future as a civilization could hang
