'Was that disruptive?': congressman blasts Trump official with air-horn in committee hearing

'Was that disruptive?': congressman blasts Trump official with air-horn in committee hearing
Joe Cunningham intervened in a House committee hearing on the environmental impact of seismic air-gun testing. The Democrat reached for the 120-decibel device after the official claimed the practice, used to locate underwater oil deposits, would have no effect on marine animals. Cunningham said seismic air guns were 16,000 times louder than his air-horn

They are immune to anything that doesn't support their dogma. Even in the face of it. Even when it's against their best interests.

Just like here. Conservatism is a mental and social disease.

I wish we could just round them up and send them off the planet, and I don't give a rat's ass if they died in the first ten seconds after blast off.

Surrounded by 16,000 of these air horns.
It’d be a good start.

What a great demonstration. I know he probably didn't give a good goddamn, but others will. And when they're swept away, maybe we can undo the horrific damage they're doing.

But it reminds me of something I believ Christ said: “he who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Look how long we’ve been trying to tell the truth about trump. Have most of ‘em been turned around?

Hell, I heard an interview with a pro-trump juror in the Manafort trial - who voted to convict Manafort on all counts - still said she’d vote for trump a second time. Yes I realize this was about Paul Manafort and not trump directly. But Paul Manafort is going through this because he got involved with donald trump.

Manafort has a criminal mind. “Otherwise blameless life” my ass. And the criminal mind is drawn to trump because trump-anything is friendly territory. And the criminal mind - the one that puts money and personal profit first, and will do ANYTHING if it profits them - is like Russian influence inside the 2016 RNC convention & the White House since the next shift started. Freakin’ EVERYWHERE! Around EVERY corner. Coming out of the woodwork. Pouring out of every faucet both hot and cold.

The criminal mind is drawn to the conditions, the leadership, the vibes, the scheming and corner-cutting and conniving and mind-fucking. Birds of a feather in this White House now. Who among trump’s team is NOT of a mind to exploit, and to succeed at all costs, including putting their thumb on the scale to win. They don’t play fair, they don’t follow the rules or laws, and they don’t tell the truth. Unless it’s to their own advantage. It doesn’t apply to them. And opportunistic as all-get-out.

And it all leads back to trump. All roads of criminality eventually lead to trump.
