5. It was a good video. But, they didn't tell much about the real reason Lori won

Toni was aligned with a very corrupt alderman who was indicted. We are really getting sick of this crap and I believe people decided they wanted a former federal prosecutor. The racist homophobes probably didn't vote because voter turn out was really low. Those people had a choice of two black women. Lori's numbers climbed when alderman ed burke got indicted and it was clear that Toni not only recently endorsed him but hired his children. It's just too much. Toni also aligned herself with joe berrios who was the Cook County assessor who endorsed a tax system that was in the bag for the wealthy and screwed the poor when it came to property tax. Lori mentioned it a lot in her speeches.

We need something new. We need something better. Fingers crossed Mayor Lori Lightfoot and the new city council can make some changes. (We also have a more liberal city council).
