Stephen Colbert has a lot of old metal fillings in his teeth!
I would have thought that he would have had them replaced with ceramic over the years.

I know someone who just went through that - she had all the silver fillings in her teeth replaced!

Aesthetics? That's a pretty expensive option. Not to mention the unpleasantness in the Dentist's Chair.

She felt they were poisoning her. I didn't ask the details, but I can. I'm not afraid of going to the dentist like some people are, but I sure wouldn't choose to repeat any dental work. My aunt used to require valium.
