… at one point, near the end, I disagree with Brooks a bit... he was saying Trump's behavior showed maybe times have changed and new standards have left others behind. Yes, standards do change, over time... FDR and LBJ, both mentioned, were of different eras and reflected changing times - but there is still a basic morality. I know times change, but that's not the problem. The problem is Trump, and he's not natural to changing times. He represents a different "change" and it's more reactionary - and bad.

Seems he had a real awakening about his past beliefs/behaviors, etc. and is more open to other points of view. He definitely despises Trump and makes no bones about it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the podcast.

He's a tepid, timid voice. He's part of the "both sides do it" crowd.

His lack of a spine is annoying.
