Not that Comey reaped whatever reward he thought he would get for helping Trump as Trump treated Comey exactly the same way he has treated alot of people he has owed a debt.........he welched on it.

I do not think that had much effect at all. Those blue collar workers in the Rust Belt states did not vote against her because she used the wrong email server. They had already been bamboozled by Trump, who actually campaigned there as opposed to Hillary, into believing he'd bring back their high paying jobs, and get rid of the Clinton endorsed NAFTA.

It may have helped to seal the reslove of Republican voters, but even then, I have come to realize that modern day Republican voters are brainwashed, or programmed to use ANY excuse of a "scandal" on the Democratic side, to attack, whether they actually think its a big deal or not. From Obama's tan suits and Michelle's sleeveless dresses, to Gore claiming to have invented the internet, to Warren claiming indigenous heritage. And make every one of them an 11 on the scale of 1 to 10. They don't really have a problem with infidelity from one of their reps, even pedophilia. Not to mention financial corruption. As long as its one of theirs. That proves that its not the deed that they care about, its the affiliated party.

Its all an act, obviously. So Republicans had already tried and convicted her of treason for using an unsecured email server. It made little difference to them that Comey only confirmed that once more in their minds. And I doubt many Democrats, 10 days out, who had already heard everything they needed to hear about that story, would then alter their vote, or stay home, because of an email server problem that she had been already publicly chastised for and apologized for.

The Comey letter is a convenient excuse, but Trump would have "won" regardless.

A week after the letter Hillary lost a 7 point lead and it was tied. The letter also caused a bunch of Democrats to stay at home and not vote.

starting the process as they probably would like him gone as well.
So I say let them introduce the articles of impeachment and until they do that we should continue to tie Trump around the neck like an anchor on every single Repugnant that runs for office.
