So I missed his blasting of AOC. I'm not surprised he would do so, but I lack the stomach (and patience) to listen to a police-state enabler talking about how we need to keep our "freedoms" strong by brutalizing millions of brown people, including children.
The guy is a tough cop. I get it. But if he really does lay into AOC for her correctly characterizing as concentration camps the tented prisons in which we're storing children at the border, he's either ignorant or, like Trump, playing to the base. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he's just ignorant. Most of AOC's critics are not. They just scent a weak spot in the Democratic political view of immigration -- and, of course, notice how latino is our brilliant, young, beautiful representative is -- and move in for the kill. Alas, there can be no killing to delight the palates of the neanderthal GOP here because AOC and many, many others are firing back at the GOP with truth. I love that jewish organizations are defending her, but in addition so many others.
Morgan may want to read a book about the subject. It won't stop his clear hunger for massive deportations, but it might at least let him know that concentration camps have been around for a time well before the Nazis (with their "fine people"
, and that the very term is not -- repeat, it is not -- synonymous with "death camps" -- although I am sure that many of the "fine people" Trump praised after Charlottesville wish it were.
