It was a store in a Mall, and soon everyone start selling Red White and Blue items.
My District Manager told us to try to upsell a flag pin during every purchase.
She told me that part of the sale of every Flag Pin would go to the Red Cross.
When I asked her what was the percentage of the donation would be, she said I was being rude.
Six months later I had to destroy what remaining inventory we had,
(it seems that almost all of the stores in the mall were selling Flag Pins)

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
