TCM...getting ready to watch "The Battle of Algiers".....sounds good

Seems to be a well respected film. I have not seen it to my knowledge.

but have never had the chance to see the whole thing.
I have vague memories of the nightly news talking about the French/Algerian war in the 50s. I was so young - I remember deGaulle and thinking we should be cheering for freedom.
