bought my first car, 56 Chevy (327-340 horse 11:25 to 1 compression, 4 speed, headers, for $1200 bucks ), and then go down to the LA area and catch all of the acts, American Graffiti was alive and well in LA and Riverside surrounding area, San Berdoo........................all of it and listening to Wolfman Jack on the dial......................amazing.........................

7. On 25th anniversary of Woodstock

Rolling Stone published a list of everyone who preformed and where they were now. It was surprising how many had died of drug overdoses, but Canned Heat was the only band that had lost 2 members by 1984.

I was in college in the early 70s and we thought drugs were going to be a very positive effect on society. But that was before cocaine showed up, and nobody would touch heroin. Now, with meth and opioids like fentanyl, I realize how naive we were.
