Because for 1 1/2 years after the financial crisis, these geniuses of the "professional left" failed to produce any kind of coherent narrative regarding what happened in the crisis and who was to blame. Most of them still can't explain it with any kind of clarity. The right wingers had their story, the same story, out there literally everywhere within a couple weeks.

A leftwinger will own a thesaurus. A rightwinger will never deviate from his Luntz-approved vocabulary talking point list.
