Canada: Trudeau Backtracking on Compensation for First Nations Children?

Video starts 7 seconds in. Don't stop watching when he starts speaking French. There's a couple of questions and answers in English afterward.

Andrew Scheer is really bad, but Justin can't be trusted either. One of the campaign promises he abandoned early in his term was electoral reform. A lot of people voted for him based on that.

But there's been many other issues. Just yesterday it surfaced that Trudeau once spoke out against abortion on a personal level (he says he's since changed his own views on it), but he attacked his opponent on it relentlessly.

He's acts as a champion for diversity, yet he's done blackface/brownface on multiple occasions.

He espouses reconciliation, yet he fires his Indigenous Justice minister when she insists he do the right thing after he attempted to interfere in the judicial process.

He also gave the President of the Treasury Board the boot for the same reason.

He's been found guilty of breaking ethics guidelines twice by the Ethics Commissions.

There's a whole lot not to like about Justin Trudeau, which is truly unfortunate. I hope the Indigenous community throws its support behind Jagmeet Singh or Elizabeth May. They're not going to win the federal election but they may hold the balance of power.
