I think she let her presidential ambitions get the better of her, and she saw attacking Al Franken as a great move.

5. I'm still angry about what happened to him

My own Senator (Merkley) turned on him over a lie. It was a bit they were doing - he never touched her boobs and she wasn't asleep. If Sen. Franken was still there we'd be getting some real answers. He wasn't a wuse (how do you spell that). He's the one who got screwed and by his own party!!

I would give anything to have him back in the saddle again, but even though he asked for a hearing for the truth to come out, in my amateur opinion, when some of the colleagues in his own party said " yeah, you should just leave"' that hurt and discouraged him badly. Absolutely no offense to the Me To Movement and I apologize for the run on sentence.
