1. What infuriates me the most about all of this

These bastards who are spending all this money to obstruct and derail every piece of legislation that would stem the tide, or at least slow down the process, all in the name of higher profits- They are going to be the ones who survive when the disaster finally comes. They will own the high ground which will be the last to be flooded. They will have the private armies to chase off or kill anyone else who tries to take refuge there without submitting to slavery. Why should they give a shit about climate change? They're all set to survivie it. And when the planet finally does become uninhabitable, it will be their descendants who get a seat on the space ark and spread the plague to the next planet.
