But did I hear him say "Democrat" instead of democratic, twice? I guess that's how prevalent the GOP diss has become. If only the dems had a messaging machine. Any messaging machine.

... because of the severely undemocratic Electoral College system. Either your party or the opposition party will get all the electoral votes whether the results are 99% to 1% or 51.5% to 49.5%. Your vote "doesn't count" unless it puts your candidate "past the post," and then any votes over that are superfluous. In the last 20 years, this awful system has given us two presidents who didn't win the popular vote, and both proved to be absolutely awful presidents.
