Carol Burnett used to open her shows with questions from the audience. I wish Colbert's would air more often.

Thanks as always Rhiannon for posting Colbert every time. It's my favorite way to start the day.

David Letterman was much the same, I was fortunate to be in his audience back in 2008! He not only took audience questions before the show, but he came out afterwards just to thank us for being there - after more than 30 years!

And, like I've said before, I post Colbert for those who missed it since I'm still up - and, especially now, he's must-see-TV for his news segments! Like Jon Stewart always said, a lot of people get their news from the comedy shows - and Colbert takes pride in being up on the latest. One time, news broke (Trump's first visit to North Korea) while he was in the middle of taping his monologue, so he stopped what he was reading and ad libbed the rest!
