The Xenophobia is out in force, for this reason alone, Americans might be stupid enough to re elect this President. I am so tired of people not keeping up with the news...and Fox News propaganda. I saw a tee shirt the other day that said, "I would rather be a Russian than to be a Democrat" . Smh. He has changed this country forever... if the Republicans had their way there would be no Bill of Rights and certainly no Constitution... They would be fine with a dictatorship and some people in this country would allow it.

This has been an arduous campaign by republicans to weaken education, and they are succeeding, people should not support "Charter Schools", support "Public Schools". Our media doesn't help either, TV sucks, many of the programming is meant to satisfy low IQ citizens.

I was watching the "Critics Awards" the other day, not sure why because I never watch awards shows, but I did, and one of the shows that one two awards was "fleabag" so I decided to watch it as "The Marvelous Mrs. Mazel" new season has not arrived yet, and I was not even able to finish the first episode of the first season, what trash. Maybe the acting is good, I don't know, but what I saw is pure trash, and unfortunately that is what is educating this country.

I remember hearing people in the breakroom at work discussing the list of programs they were watching on TV, and the shallow discussions that went on which I believe gives a glimpse of our society as a whole.

I think people need to give up their cable services for two reasons:
1. The expense doesn't justify the quality
2. The quality doesn't justify the expense. Prices go up every six months, people are paying up to $120.00/month for 160 channels of crap, and most probably only watching 4 to 5 channels from the list only, and the programming from those 4 to 5 channels is trash, so what goes into people's brains? trash.

We disconnected our cable service about six years ago, and we couldn't be happier We use an antenna and watch only once in a while, but I am reading to to three books per month and have time to do a bunch of other things that I wasn't doing when I was wasting time in front of the TV because I had cable.

Just measure the amount of time to surf your cable looking for something to watch, and then cycle back to the beginning to cycle one more time again while not finding anything worthwhile to watch. You will be surprised at how much time you waste.

the internet. I chose the internet, I don't need to watch TV and if I want, the CW is free on the internet. Good programs... fun stuff.
