In the Senate he wrinkled his brow, pretended to be concerned, lightly criticized Trump and his fellow republicans and then just did whatever they wanted like a good lapdog. But he got some good video, which with some creative editing, he can use to try to make himself look more bipartisan.

If he was really sincere, he should have quit the GOP and caucused with the Democrats his last several months in the Senate

impeachment. Every voice that contributes to that view increases the possibility that enough Republican senators would vote their conscience to result in a verdict of guilty.
