(32 posts)When the Quebec independence party won, Montreal used to be the biggest city in Canada and it's financial capitol. Then all the banks, etc., moved to Toronto as a result to protect themselves, which has grown by leaps and bounds to become the financial capitol and largest city in Canada.
London will lose it's standing as the financial capitol of Europe, and it will switch to Paris or Belgium or Frankfurt.

(32 posts)I was always amazed at the new buildings each successive trip. All these building were bank headquarter buildings, except for the Eaton Centre, which was the biggest indoor shopping mall located downtown.
