Australia: Ravaged by drought and fire

This was uploaded by DW four days ago, but I've waited to post it till this weekend afternoon, so that more people can watch the whole 28-minute video. Warning: you may find a few images hard to watch.

Well, Australia has always had bushfires in certain parts of the year, but there's no one saying THIS is normal!

Normally it rains a bit in December and January...after that no so much. Hence the horrible fires and more desert like conditions.
