Right? What I've been saying. But if we CAN get the national count, it will lead to an inauguration. ancianita Feb 2020 #4

could involve multiple jurisdictions - local D.C., Federal judges, or even SCOTUS. Various constabularies could be used by one or the other. IF Democrats can figure out how to win the election, and do win it, they'd best have all those possibilities gamed out, because Trump will.

swears in the new president, the U.S. has a new president, who then gets full Secret Service service, which is to immediately take out the malingering occupant of the WH.

He'll be out the door faster than a fired apprentice.

"It is in the best interests of the country, by the President's judgment, that the election is invalidated and he remains in office."

They already told you. They've got all the bases covered.

We just have to get to that first point to get to the second point.

Invalidating an election would have to be upheld by SCOTUS for a really tough crisis, one would think. What could that be. I seriously don't know, short of a nuclear attack.

After that, swearing in "best interests" authority takes over, and the old "best interest" has to move out cuz the new "best interest" has the authorization to use force. That old "best interest" will be handled.
