Horrific wreck at NASCAR finish...but the show must go on

I'm not a NASCAR fan. The driver Ryan Newman is in the hospital with "serious but not life threatening injuries".

I post this for two reasons:
Okay the winner just won the biggest race of the season. A career mark for any driver but doesn't NASCAR have a clue as to the timing of the celebration?
Joe Gibbs shows his class. By all accounts he is a class act.

NASCAR and fox are both culpable for the celebratory festivities while Ryan Newman was lying in a pile of burned rubble in his car. It was beyond disgraceful and disgusting!

Everyone wants there confetti picture. Hamlin has won two in a row and 3 of the last 5. He could have waited.

at some point in the future, believe me. Drivers, even entire teams, have long memories when it comes to risking another driver's life to reach the winner's circle. NASCAR was built on grudges.

His excuse was lame. “We didn’t know the extent of the injuries/crash”. Paraphrased. So the flaming ballof a car flying through the air and skidding oh let’s say a couple hundred yards WITH a human being into it was somehow vague in severity?
