I love the song and always liked Byrne's music. With him the visuals are as amazing as the music.

I really liked the drummers, this is a tough piece to play with that intricate drum riff.

It's not exactly a political video, but it sure was a "current event" and I knew that folks here would love it!

Note that 68% of participants are between ages of 56 - 75.

That's why "so many DUers remember!"

....but the original was better and the performance in the concert movie "Stop Making Sense" was the real gold standard.
It had an energy that was really something to see. I thought the that the fake musicians on stage with him last night were a distraction not up to old Talking Heads theatricality.

I saw Talking Heads in Eugene in 1983. Reportedly, it was a dress rehearsal for the Stop Making Sense movie which was filmed in Los Angeles soon after. The big suit was pretty cool.

I’ve been in the sound business for a long time. I’m 62. Have seen and worked with some of the Gods. Totally jaded. Never go to a show unless I’m working it. My family went the night my daughter graduated from American in DC. I was stunned. The SNL stage is too small for their choreography. Everything was/is wireless. The whole show moved constantly. Minimal lights. Very theatrical presentation. They brought it. As good as any show that I have ever seen.
