Crikey, how dull witted a racist is Cornyn to think he's dancing smoothly out of a tight spot when, in fact, he's just stumbling into one freaking pratfall after another.

The sensible answer -- even for a racist like Cornyn -- would be to say "I agree with you. It is inappropriate to call it by a name that casts aspersions on the nation of China and her people. It's proper name is Covid-19, and when we focus on that name we focus on the disease.

But Cornyn is racist to the bone and believes, I'm sure, that by avoiding clearly derogatory epithets for the Chinese he's being statesmanlike. What a d-bag.
