Really. Do some research. Someone posted a nice rebuttal to this video here on DU the other day.
The whole "likelihood of contagion on surfaces" is way more complex than just how long any artifacts of the virus persist on various types of materials.

but once C-19 is widespread in my area, and I decided to venture forth for food, I'd probably stick to what this says. I haven't been food shopping for about a week, and at this point, I don't intend to for another two months minimum, but it's good to have this knowledge.

No, you are not going to pick up the virus on your shoes and you don't need to disinfect them when you return home.
