America's Music. Questlove's Touching Four-Hour Tribute Set To Bill Withers

I learned a lot from this set. Most of it's inexplicable, something about the mystery of making one's memories from a humble past, from its simplest moments, into art.

Mixed with the gumbo of instruments, "covers" and caribbean rhythms, America's music has changed the world.

Aahahahaha moments: "I was like maybe 11 or 12 before I realized that "Let It Be" was not a Bill Withers song ...E minor... that will be the evil knievel jump... and will take a nine hour explanation..."

If you feel the great Bill Withers hasn't gotten enough love these days, this is one exception.

"The most you can ever do is the best you can."
Bill Withers
