I have been really digging this show, The Main character has a condition that she witnesses people's inner thoughts, but as expressed as songs and dance. There are subplots that are amazing. One is dealing with her Ill father and tonight there is one dealing with deaf people. I also like the role of the care-taker. suns - but I can tolerate this show for the reasons you mention....barely. But the singing is awful, and I have to fast forward thru it. It’s just so flat and lifeless and bad. They find the most generic voices, who sing so expressionlessly (is that a word?). They’re lucky it’s an interesting premise, and they’re taking the time to flesh out the characters.

ETA: I make exception for Mo - HE can sing!

2. We love the show

Zoe is adorable. We love Mo.

The performances are really uneven. Sometimes they are good and sometimes flat out cringy.
