Fr. Gerald Murray, talking about how some Italian priests were unwitting carriers to their flock: "We don't want to repeat that here. You have to get ahead of the curve. You can't just keep things as, you know, as they were. It's regretful, but, you know, whatever you do to the least of my brethren, you do to me. If you sacrifice going to Mass so that people don't get sick, I think that's a form of praise in God."

Her church has gone to online services for the past several weeks, and they are advocating social distancing (which she is doing faithfully). I doubt seriously she'd abandon Trump, but at least she's not being an idiot about this.

like Bill Donahue. I think in general most Catholic leaders are pretty good folks.

Almost all of the major denominations have gone online. Wherever 2 or 3 are gathered in his name is a Church.

Jesus healed on the sabbath. He never made people sick. He commanded us to love our neighbor and not to kill.

We are to care for the least among us.

This is a huge sacrifice for Catholics and the Catholic Church because the emphasize corporate worship more than other denominations. They led by example and were one of the first to shut down.

Fox can’t be trusted to report on Christianity or anything else.
